GIRLS Elementary Division
Shaare Torah Girls Elementary Division aspires to provide students with the tools, confidence, and motivation necessary for continued learning. Our program is on the cutting edge of educational practice, and it is designed to develop each individual student’s critical thinking and analytical skills.
Our objective is to encourage each child to achieve her personal best, academically, by tailoring our curriculum according to each student’s individual needs. Shaare Torah Girls Judaic Studies program is text-based, with a strong emphasis on learning the Hebrew language. The General Studies department is specifically designed to enable students to succeed in their future endeavors. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are taught on a daily basis using the Common Core Curriculum Standards. This dual curriculum helps cultivate our future’s greatest thinkers and innovators.
The goal of our Midot Program is to foster personal growth and character development through the use of songs, skits, bulletin boards, games, awards, and charts.
Students are taught to distinguish right from wrong and to have the courage to stand up for their convictions. Shaare’s Midot Program helps students to maintain a strong sense of responsibility for themselves, each other, and the community. We believe intellectual integrity contributes to the development of emunah, yirat Shamayim and ahavat Hashem.
Shaare Torah Girls Elementary Division aims to cultivate a young mind that is capable and skilled intellectually, socially, and artistically. We offer various opportunities for self-expression and personal growth. Our outstanding art, music, dance, and drama programs enable students to express themselves creatively.
Our dedicated administrators and staff continuously nurture and support the students to ensure a strong sense of self-esteem and personal value. Our girls are encouraged to experiment and become self-directed learners. This foundation enables each student to become a well-educated, productive adult able to excel in an ever-changing world.
